-        Email Aliases Issues

Problems with the automated registration and update processes should be directed to: alias-registrar@ieee.org. You must indicate your IEEE member number on all correspondence.

  When contacting us make sure to include the following information:

-          Member Number

-          Provide the “ieee.org” alias and forwarding email address

-        Virus Scanning Issues

It is the responsibility of the sender to clean and resend file attachments that the E-Mail Virus Scanner detected and deleted. IEEE does NOT save file attachments when the E-Mail Virus Scanner detects a virus, nor does the IEEE supply virus-scanning software for desktop use. If you receive a virus that the E-Mail Virus Scanner failed to detect, you may contact us and MUST include the message headers and indicate the name of the software and version (including virus definition file version and date) that detected the virus that the scanner missed. Contact: virus-admin@ieee.org

-        UCE/Spam and Email Abuse Issues

For questions about the IEEE UCE/Spam Filtering Service or for questions from users receiving Unsolicited Commercial E-Mail (UCE), in which the sender is using, a "From:" address within the @ieee.org domain. Please contact us at abuse@ieee.org

-        Problems with Mailing-Lists

Users who are having problems with subscribing or un-subscribing to mailing-lists should direct their questions to the owner of the particular mailing-list by sending a message to: LISTNAME-request@ieee.org ( With LISTNAME being the list in question.)

List owners who have problems or questions regarding the maintenance of their lists may contact the List Management Service Administrator, listserv-help@ieee.org, and should always include the name of the list.
